The Company:Our client, a well-respected national property company, is seeking an Accountant to join their finance team!
The Role:
Our client is seeking a skilled Accountant to support their finance team. This role involves assisting with monthly and annual financial reporting, tax compliance, budgeting, and providing insights on project costs and forecasts.
Key Responsibilities: - Complete monthly and annual financial reports.
- Prepare cash flows, budgets, and forecasts.
- Analyse project costs and provide insights to business partners.
- Assist with group consolidations, tax, and audit processes.
- Prepare BAS, FBT, superannuation, and payroll tax returns.
- Perform monthly General Ledger reconciliations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Provide support to the Finance Manager as needed.
Qualifications & Experience: - Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
- CPA, CA, or CIMA qualification (or working towards it).
- Proficiency in Excel and large finance systems like SAP, Oracle, or similar.
- Strong understanding of financial compliance (GST, FBT, PAYG).
