The Company:
Our client, a well-respected national property company, is seeking an Accountant to join their finance team!
  
The Role:
Our client is seeking a skilled Accountant to support their finance team. This role involves assisting with monthly and annual financial reporting, tax compliance, budgeting, and providing insights on project costs and forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete monthly and annual financial reports.
• Prepare cash flows, budgets, and forecasts.
• Analyse project costs and provide insights to business partners.
• Assist with group consolidations, tax, and audit processes.
• Prepare BAS, FBT, superannuation, and payroll tax returns.
• Perform monthly General Ledger reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Provide support to the Finance Manager as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
• CPA, CA, or CIMA qualification (or working towards it).
• Proficiency in Excel and large finance systems like SAP, Oracle, or similar.
• Strong understanding of financial compliance (GST, FBT, PAYG).
