The Construction Director will be responsible for the team management, project & financial oversight, and operational aspects of the business.
Duties include:
- Team Management: oversee and manage teams (estimating, design, project management), recruit to ensure appropriate coverage, mentor and review staff performance
- Project & Financial Oversight: Oversee all projects from start to finish, empowering teams to take ownership and work effectively to progress the project, taking ownership for financial management and ensuring projects are on track, maintain and build client relationships
- Operations, Systems, & Processes: Review operations across teams and implement systems & processes for efficiency, ensuring WHS & quality is maintained
The ideal candidate will have a strong project management background and an operational mindset as well as:
- Strong project management in the new home build & renovation space
- Exposure to commercial project management or other areas highly relevant
- Excellent team management abilities
- Ability to implement processes & systems
