Our client is a Business Services Accounting firm, looking for an Accountant to join their team in Sydney. An exciting opportunity to be a part of an established firm where you will be serving a variety of clients across a range of industries by providing taxation, accounting & business advisory services.

Requirements

• 2+ years’ business services/public practice experience
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure
• Solid understanding of Australian tax legislation
• Experience using accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB, or similar)
• Part or full CA/CPA qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare BAS, IAS, payroll tax, and income tax returns
• Assist with preparation of financial statements for various entity types
• Research tax matters and assist in resolving client queries
• Reconcile tax accounts and support tax provision work
• Liaise directly with clients to ensure timely, accurate outcomes
