Your new role A very successful Sydney based Technology Solutions Provider working with a wide range of businesses across industry groups is looking for a talented L2/3 IT Systems Support Specialist to take a lead client-facing role in their business.
Key responsibilities
- Actively manage 2nd and 3rd level escalations and end-users to receive support & maintenance within the client environments
- Lead, manage and assist with project-oriented tasks (client upgrades, cloud migrations, integration and routine updates)
- Troubleshoot servers and networking hardware as required
- Support cross-skilling and mentor junior team members
- Ensuring documentation is kept up to date
About you
- Demonstrated experience in a similar environment (either In-house support or Managed Services)
- You have strong communication (both verbal & written), a customer-centric approach & excellent time management
Desired skills & experience
- Veeam backup and replication
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of Virtualisation Technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, Azure Virtual Desktop.
- PowerShell/VB Scripting and/other scripting languages
- Working knowledge of Linux OS, Build, Configuration and Administration.
- Cybersecurity Skills
- Strong Analytical and Troubleshooting Skills
Highly Desirable - Palo Alto and Fortinet (firewall rules, NAT rules, SSL, IPSEC tunnels)
- Technical Certifications MS-100/101 and/or AZ-104
- Working with aruba, Switching and Wireless Access Points
- ITIL understanding
