Your new role A very successful Sydney based Technology Solutions Provider working with a wide range of businesses across industry groups is looking for a talented L3 Systems Support Specialist to take a lead role in one of their teams.
Key responsibilities
- Actively manage complex escalations and end-users to receive support & maintenance within client environments
- Deliver advanced remote and onsite support
- Lead, manage and assist with project-oriented tasks (client upgrades, cloud migrations, integration and routine updates)
- Troubleshoot servers and networking hardware as required
- interrogate issues to initiate prevention tactics
- Support cross-skilling and mentor junior team members
- Provide consistency in documentation to enable constantly updated knowledge base
About you
- Demonstrated experience in a similar environment (either In-house support or Managed Services)
- You have strong communication (both verbal & written), a customer-centric approach & enjoys client contact
Desired skills & experience
- Strong cloud, extensive experience with Microsoft 365 suite including Office 365, Azure, SharePoint, and ATP
- Windows stack – Server 2008/2012/2016/2019, AD, DFS, DHCP, DNS, Exchange 2008/2013/2016, RDS
- Knowledge with Hyperconverged and other contemporary infrastructures
- Proficiency with on-prem and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure infrastructure design and build)
- Exposure to Routing/Firewalls and Switches
- Backup Management & Recovery systems
