A dynamic Australian company specialising in distribution for the print, packaging, and industrial manufacturing industries is seeking an experienced National Manager to lead its Print & Finish division across Australia and New Zealand. The RoleReporting to the directors, in this role, you will drive the division’s sales and business development efforts through delivering best-practice guidance and leadership over team performance, and management of key client relationships.
You will be responsible for setting and executing sales strategies, identifying growth opportunities, and fostering a high-performance culture within an established and successful team of sales professionals.
Responsibilities - Manage and develop a team of 10, including sales, product and technical staff, to exceed performance targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and growth.
- Identify new product and customer opportunities aligned with company goals.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy and business plan for the division.
- Collaborate with product managers to create growth plans with defined objectives and performance metrics.
- Oversee division marketing initiatives in partnership with the Marketing Manager.
The Person - 5+ years in a similar leadership role, with 10+ years of experience in the print consumables or capital industry preferred.
- Strong network and expertise within Australia’s commercial print market.
- Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and organisational skills.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and a proactive approach to technology.
- Willingness to travel interstate and internationally.
