The Opportunity
As a Networks/Infrastructure Project Engineer, you will split your time between:
- Project delivery (70%) – leading and implementing new IT initiatives.
- BAU support (30%) – providing hands-on technical support and consultancy.

What You’ll Do
- Deploy and configure Windows Server environments and domain controllers.
- Apply security baselines, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and firewall configurations.
- Manage Active Directory, LAPS, and internet proxy services.
- Implement and maintain backup, monitoring, and antivirus solutions.
- Deliver infrastructure projects across virtualisation, networking, cloud, and data management.
- Provide responsive Level 2/3 support and produce clear documentation and test plans.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years’ experience in infrastructure, network support, or project delivery.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience configuring and maintaining network switches and routers.
- Expertise with Microsoft technologies — Azure, Intune, SCCM, MEM, AD, SharePoint, O365, Windows Server.
- Knowledge of SQL backup/management, Veeam, RAID, iLO, and bare-metal restores.
- Experience with virtualisation platforms including Hyper-V, VMware, and Nutanix.
- Strong understanding of cloud management and security practices.
- Experience administering and securing network environments using Fortinet firewalls and related security platforms.
