Operating for more than 10 years, they continue to grow and expand their footprint and are now seeking an Operations Manager to enable the next stage of their expansion.
The Role
Reporting to the Directors, this role is central to the success of the business — ensuring jobs are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while coordinating teams, subcontractors, systems and workflows.
Working closely with the Directors, the Operations Manager will ensure the operational engine of the business runs smoothly, allowing leadership to focus on strategic growth, sales and client relationships.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction or trade services professional with wider operational management coverage, who enjoys leading teams, improving systems and driving operational performance.
Key Responsibilities - Oversee daily operations across multiple service divisions
- Manage job scheduling, workflow and job status using customised job management system
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards
- Monitor job profitability and operational performance
- Manage weekly scheduling of foremen, technicians and subcontractors
- Identify resourcing gaps and coordinate subcontractor allocation
- Ensure completed jobs are invoiced accurately and on time
- Lead operational meetings and support site teams
- Act as the main escalation point for operational issues
- Provide weekly operational reporting to Directors
- Drive improvements to systems, processes and efficiency
About You - Experience in operations management within construction, building services, trade environments or related industries
- Strong project coordination and scheduling capability
- Leadership experience managing field teams or subcontractors
- Commercial awareness with the ability to track job performance
- Experience with job management systems highly regarded
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
