The Role:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Financial Accountant to support the Financial Controller in managing monthly and annual financial reporting for multiple entities. The successful candidate will act as a key business partner, ensuring compliance, financial analysis, and effective reporting across a variety of business areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage monthly and annual financial reporting for assigned entities.
  • Prepare cash flows, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Analyse project costings and provide insights to business partners and the Financial Controller.
  • Assist with group consolidations, tax compliance, and audits.
  • Prepare BAS, FBT, superannuation, and payroll tax returns.
  • Reconcile general ledger items on a monthly basis.
  • Support financial compliance and offer financial insights to non-finance managers.
  • Identify opportunities for system and process improvements.
  • Provide support to the Finance Manager as needed.
Key Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
  • CPA/CA/CIMA qualification (or working towards completion).
  • Strong experience with ERP systems (CHEOPS, SAP, Oracle, or Finance One).
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Solid understanding of GST, FBT, and PAYG compliance.
