Our client is a well-established Sydney law firm looking for a motivated Strata Lawyer to join their growing team. Acting for owners corporations, strata committees, building managers and lot owners, you will work across a broad range of strata and dispute resolution matters. This role has become available due to continued growth within the practice.

Duties

• Advise clients on strata governance, by-law breaches and owners corporation responsibilities
• Manage NCAT, Local Court, Supreme Court and Land & Environment Court matters
• Advise on building defects, SOPA claims and construction disputes
• Draft and negotiate by-laws, easements, leases and caretaker agreements
• Manage strata conveyancing and property-related transactions
• Provide strategic advice and representation across a broad range of strata law matters

The Candidate

• Current NSW Practising Certificate
• Experience in strata, litigation or construction law
• Strong drafting, advocacy and negotiation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and client management skills
