The Role

A successful and high growth Technology Services Provider working across numerous industries, supporting a vast array of technologies is looking for an experienced Sydney based Support Engineer. Responsible for providing remote and onsite support, your willingness to learn is a must as the role will be exposed to a broad range of duties and technologies.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Managing & providing a point of contact for 1st and 2nd level
• Support to end-users within client's desktop & related hardware/software environments
• Deliver quality, remote support in a timely fashion using a variety of remote access tools
• Schedule onsite client visits to provide maintenance and direct support
• Engage with third party vendors to resolve issues that require vendor escalation
• Assemble and configure server and networking components for onsite implementation
• Active Directory administration
• User creation and termination requests
• Remote configuration of hardware and software

Skills & Experience

• Office 365 and Azure AD Admin
• Windows 10 and 11 admin
• Exposure to firewalls maintenance
• Experience with Virtualisation setup and admin (VMWare)
• Managing networks, network hardware, networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, Routing, DNS, VLANs) and the ability to troubleshoot a variety of networking issues
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting backup and anti-virus technologies
• Experience troubleshooting and deploying next generation firewalls
